Sculpting with Natural Clays - Thursdays in July
A local clay workshop.
Every Thursday in July beginning 7/10
6pm - 8pm
Pasadena, CA
(exact meeting spots emailed after reservations)
During this workshop we’ll be reviewing different ways in which we can build autonomy & work with clay in a more sustainable manner, while building a stronger relationship with the earth and the places we inhabit.
We’ll be working with unprocessed clay (collected from a construction site) and other mineral byproducts. Then we will be going through the process of refining, testing, firing, and mixing it in a way that will be suitable for ceramics. We’ll also be making test tiles from raw natural pigments which offer an alternative to overly processed glazes.
Small capacity workshop, must reserve in advance.
All sales are final. If you can no longer participate, and would like permission to transfer your spot to someone else- you can email: evelyn@evelyndez.com .
Limited sliding scale pricing available
Please DM or email to arrange or waitlist
